On May 26 2000 we flew out to Las Vegas and were upgraded to first class (#4). We were very fortunate to get great aerial photopgraphs of the Snake River (#1) and the Rocky Mountains (#2). We transferred to a single engine plane which flew us to a cattle ranch in Utah. We slept overnight , in a covered wagon, (no kidding) at the Bar Ten Ranch.In the morning we transferred to a helicopter which flew us to the bottom of the canyon. The next three days were spent rafting on the Colorado river and sleeping under the stars. The way our guides navigated the rapids was impressive. One morning I took my shower in a waterfall (#11, #13). The Colorado river ends in Lake Powell where we encountered a dust storm. We stopped at the Hoover dam(#15) on the way back to Vegas. We both felt www.arizonariverrunners ran a fantastic trip.
