We spent two frenetic weeks in China starting in the modern city of Bejiing. Making our way towards the tibetan border we were immersed in ancient traditional China. China is a contradition: beauty amongst poor hygiene, protection of the Panda's yet cruelty to other animals. The people are very kind and each meal is a banquet in your honor. The "elderly" (people retire at 50) have a wonderful social network spending afternoons in the park, singing, exercising and enjoying a communal lunch. It is a complex place that will engage and challenge your mind and senses.
